Looks like I won't be in California for much longer. I'm starting something new in a few days...
But before I get into that, I must say that I had a great thanksgiving! I had turkey day for three days! NOT one, NOT two, but THREE! THREE! My stamina is definitely maxed out. Also, Black Friday shopping was a steal this year. My old camera broke for a few reasons that didn't involve me (iaintevenmadbro.jpg), but I was able to get a new, better one for a great deal! This one normally cost about $200, but I ended up getting it for $100 instead! I love Black Friday. This new camera functions much like my old one, and records video as well. But in higher quality! Granted, it's no beastly SLR, but it packs 16.2 megapixels and records HD videos, so I'm not complaining.
I recently uploaded some new photos from an early morning car gathering I went with some friends to test it out. The pics, which were all taken with the auto-easy-basic-as-shit setting (I'm still learning how it works), turned out quite nicely.
Even better though, I filmed some of the interiors/exteriors of the cars while I was there. Check out the videos:

youtu.be/E3mm7M0pVO4Unfortunately, I ran out of battery (I used the battery straight out of the box without fully charging it first), so I couldn't record any of the cars leaving the lot after we were finished with the walk around. Believe me when I say that the Aventador was a head-turner. That V12 sounds like a climaxing supermodel.
Phew. Now that I got that out of my system, the big news. I'm in the U.S. Air Force! I leaving for basic training in about a week... so these uploads, plus this journal entry will be my last ones for a while... here's to new experiences and first big steps to that future career in film.
